Accademia del Piacere, ensemble in residence at Lunalia – Festival of Flanders Mechelen
Four concerts will be presented at Lunalia. The first will be the opening concert, “Spain on Fire,” in which the group presents its roots and its core repertoire of Spanish Baroque music. This will be followed by “L’Ange et le Diable,” a program of French music centered on M. Marais and Antoine Forqueray. “A Piacere” — Fahmi Alqhai solo — will offer a more reflective and relaxed space before the closing concert, “Dialogues,” featuring flamenco dancer Ana Morales and singer Alba Carmona.
