2027 marks our 25th anniversary, and we will be celebrating with this programme, created in collaboration with Anna Prohaska. Returning to the roots of Accademia del Piacere, as the name suggests, Fahmi Alqhai has rewritten and arranged pieces by Landi, Cavalli and Monteverdi, among others.
At the dawn of the seventeenth century, Italy was enchanted by the alliance of pain, sensuality and pleasure. It was an era of striking contrasts, during which art emerged that sought extremes in feeling, expression, and lived experience. The premiere will take place in Seville on 9 January 2027! Join us!
